During a lash lift, a perm cream is used to break the disulfide bonds and allow keratin molecules to move freely and adjust to their new shape.  Then a neutralizing cream is added to reverse the effect of the perm cream.  New disulfide bonds form and keratin molecules are locked into place with a new curled shape. This process boosts and lifts each individual lash before tinting them for thicker, darker, longer looking lashes.

The brow lift and tint process is similar to the lash lift and tint.  First stray hairs are plucked and brows shaped.  Next a chemical straightening cream is applied to the brows to allow the hairs to be moved and remove the curl.  Then the brows are combed up and hairs put in place.  Once shaped, a setting serum is applied to set the hairs in their new place, giving you the everyday look you want. An optional step is to get them tinted.

Common FAQs

A lash lift/tint usually lasts 6-8 weeks depending on the after care.  A brow lift/tint usually lasts about 6 weeks (again, depending on the aftercare) Every 6-8 weeks new lashes will begin growing.

You need to wait at least 24 hours after the process before getting them wet or applying mascara.  Talk with your esthetician for other dos and don’ts.

Some people present with skin irritation, itchy, burning, inflammation and redness at the area that was treated. Itchy, burning, inflammation and redness.  Talk to your provider about how to treat these symptoms if they arise.
