Thin, tiny needles pierce the stratum corneum (top layer of the skin). These piercings in the skin help stimulate your skin’s natural healing process by promoting new collagen production and elastin. These proteins keep your skin firm and smooth.
The number of treatments can be determined by our aesthetician based upon treatment goals and the health of your skin. It is recommended for most clients to receive at least 3 treatments, spaced about 4 weeks apart.
The treatment usually takes about an hour, maybe longer depending on the size of the surface area being treated.
On average, clients are pink for up to 3 days. If the face is treated, it is recommended that no make-up be worn for the 2-3 days following the treatment.
Clients usually see results 4 weeks after the treatment.
